Set of French armchairs in olive wood with saddle leather, 1970s

A set of armchairs from France, made in the 1970s. These armchairs have a beautiful olive wood frame with a brown saddle leather seat.

The seats were expertly crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Olive wood is known for its beautiful and intricate grain. This beautifully combines with the sturdy saddle leather, providing comfortable seating. There is a slight difference in size between the two seats, as they were made for a man and a woman.

The seats are in good vintage condition. Both the wood and the leather have been refurbished. One seat showed a tear in the seat, in addition to minor wear, which has been expertly restored. This makes it inconspicuous and prevents further tearing. Furthermore, the leather has developed a beautiful patina over the years.
