Modular sofa Sofalette with ottoman by Otto Zapf for Vitsoe, 1970s
Modular sofa with ottoman designed by Otto Zapf in 1967. This piece of furniture with model name Sofalette was manufactured by Vitsoe.
The cushion rests on a shell made of fiberglass. The upholstery is in alcantara which guarantees high wear resistance. The seats can be pushed together resulting in a 2-seater, or each can be used separately.
The seats are in very nice vintage condition. The upholstery has a small stain here and there but nothing noticeable or disturbing (see photos). One seat has a small manufacturing error at the bottom which makes it look like there is a hole in the seat, which is not the case. This is also not disturbing (see photo). Furthermore, the 2 extra back cushions are still present.
