Space Age lounge chair in leather with chrome base, 1970s

Vintage lounge chair from the 70s in Space Age style.

This armchair features a sturdy plastic shell upholstered in cognac-colored leather. The shell rests on a chrome-plated metal base, creating the illusion of weightlessness. It can also be adjusted from a sitting to a reclining position, ensuring optimal comfort.

The lounge chair is in good vintage condition. The leather has developed a lovely patina, with no cracks visible anywhere. Most of the wear and tear on the leather is located along the edge of the chair. There is also some slight discoloration on the seat and where the feet rest (see photo), which contributes to the patina. The chrome base is also in good condition, with only a few (very) minor spots of oxidation here and there.

A beautiful piece of furniture that will undoubtedly make a beautiful and comfortable eye-catcher in your interior!
