Toucan lamp designed by Enea Ferrari for Old Timer Ferrari, 1970
Vintage toucan lamp designed by Enea Ferrari in 1970. This lamp is manufactured by the Italian company Old Timer Ferrari.
The lamp is made of hard plastic and shaped like a colorful toucan with a tilting beak that serves as a shade. This cheerful and timeless design made a splash as the first plastic children's lamp and has become a beloved collector's item.
This lamp is an original early version produced between 1970 and 1973, bearing the name "Oldtimer Ferrari" at the bottom of the base (see photo). In 1973, the company changed its name to Linea Zero.
The lamp is in very nice vintage condition. There are no discoloration (e.g., from overheating the lamp) or cracks.
